About Ms. Sandy

Music has always been a part of my life. I grew up in a home filled with music, learning to play the piano and saxophone at a young age. Some of my earliest memories are of singing in church and around the house—music was simply part of the rhythm of everyday life. As a teenager, I eagerly joined school musicals, drawn to the joy of performance and connection that music brings.
After high school, I joined the United States Air Force, where I learned the value of discipline, service, and continual growth. I’ve carried those values with me through every stage of life. I believe learning never stops, and that’s guided me both personally and professionally. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with a minor in Family Studies from Weber State University, and I continue to seek opportunities to grow—both in my career and through my lifelong love of music.
My husband and I are raising four wonderful children in a home where music continues to be a shared passion. Our family is pretty musical—my son plays the trumpet, one daughter plays the violin, another sings and plays the piano, and my husband plays guitar, sings, and dabbles in piano as well. I still take piano lessons myself and carve out time to practice regularly. Music brings us together, strengthens our bond, and adds beauty to our everyday lives.
